On Valentine's Day afternoon (2/14), Angie Martinez premiered an exclusive on her new website: angiereview.com. The exclusive was a remix to Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" with some news bars from Kanye (Jay's verse stayed on the track as well). Yeezy takes time to reference "Bound 2" and "Flashing Lights" on the remix. Thankfully, the aggressive and abbrasive West from "Yeezus" is a bit subdued here. Just a bit. Check out the remix below.

Kanye Gets "Drunk in Love" on Valentine's Day
After a whirlwind week in music with Nicki showing dudes up on "Lookin' Ass N*ggas", Drake and his Rolling Stone quote debacle, and new music from Common and Mariah Carey, Yeezy swooped in to end it with a bang.

Rihanna Steals the Spotlight on Shakira's New Track!
Shakira teamed up with fellow popstar Rihanna to make your Monday morning a little more bearable. Shakira's new single, "Can't Remember to Forget You", features the best vocals delivered by Rihanna on a feature in a while. Goes to show that Rih shines bright like a diamond on features when given more than just a hook on a rap song. Thankfully, this not another "S&M Remix" scenario with awkward chemistry and even worse signing. Shakira is certainly out-shined here, but judge it for yourself on the track below!
UPDATE: These two divas put their truthful hips to work in the "Can't Remember to Forget You" music video. Peep it below.

Fashion Knight: A Textual Portrait of Nick Knight

In modern day fashion photography there are few artists trailing as much influence and innovation as Nick Knight. While the photography industry faced drastic changes in the midst of Nick’s phenomenal career, the creative force often found a way to evolve naturally in tandem with technology developments in the field. Although his career started out over 30 years ago, Knight consistently associates himself with relevant, contemporary culture. This has propelled the photographer into a steady prominence in industries ranging from fashion to music, and everything in between.
A master of multiple mediums, Nick started photography at a young age for its social appeal. This knack for rather obscure attention seemingly manifested itself into a flair for the controversial, which is reflected in his work. Everything from Knight’s self perception to his work methodology is notably eccentric, gaining him notoriety in the fashion industry.

Bruno Mars Performing at Super Bowl Halftime Show Next Year
According to USA Today, an anonymous source involved in the production of the Super Bowl has revealed that Bruno Mars will be performing at next year's halftime show for the famous sports event. The Super Bowl is annually the most watched television program of the year, and has recently seen the likes of Madonna and Beyonce spike viewership to record breaking numbers. So the news of Bruno Mars performing seems a little odd, considering that the last two performers were world-class superstars with decades of experience in the music industry. Mars has proven himself to be one of the top entertainers in the music industry with his "Moonshine Jungle" tour getting rave reviews. However, will getting a current, somewhat-new artist as opposed to a music icon hurt the Super Bowl's viewing figures? Only time will tell.
